Rosendahl: My Cancer is in Remission

Councilmember Bill Rosendahl announced today the great news he received from his oncologist, Dr. Melani Shaum, that his cancer is in remission.

In this video on his YouTube channel, Rosendahl credits the love and healing support from family, friends and constituents in his battle to beat ureter cancer.  Rosendahl also credits medical marijuana as key to his survival.

The weather is heating up in Southern California and all this sunshine gave us a bright idea.  We could combine two of our favorite Venice Cookie Company products into one refreshing and medicating beverage.  Here’s the recipe so you can try it, too!

The Venice Cookie Company’s Arnold Palmer

• Subtle Tea Cannabis Activated Black Tea
• Old Fashioned Cannabis Lemonade

Pour 12 ounces hot water over Subtle Tea and steep in a teapot or covered mug for 20 minutes.  Allow tea to cool.  Fill a tall glass with ice and fill half way with brewed Subtle Tea.  Top off with our ice cold Old Fashioned Lemonade.  Sip and enjoy!
